Rusty Letters

Echter Rost war für mich immer so eine tolle Sache aber ich wollte mir auch keine Schrauben oder Nägel als Deko ins Wohnzimmer hängen. Also wie kommt man an den Rostlook? Ich habe davon abgesehen alles im Garten liegen zu lassen bis was passiert, wäre ja auch mit dem Zeug das rosten sollte nix geworden.

Hab das Internet durchforstet und natürlich erstmal wieder nur amerikanische Seiten gefunden.

Aber mein guter Freund Boesner Künstlerbedarf, ja der hatte genau was ich gebraucht hab.

Eine Metallpaste mit dazugehörender Lösung für die Patina. 

Diese ultra leichten Pappbuchstaben sehen aus als wären sie Kiloschwer und eben aus Metall.

Im Regal, auf dem Fensterbrett, oder wie der erste glückliche Käufer an die Wand gehängt.

Ein bisschen Industrielook passt wirklich zu jeder Einrichtung :)

chalkboardpaint experiment

Ok, another post. I think I have to share what I did the last year, and I did a lot. I always knew that I was going to post again so I documented what I did. This thing is a christmas gift from my brother, he gave it to me 2011. It was in my bedroom since then and really dusty...

I saw all of the awsome pins flying around on pinterest and thought to give it a try at last. My own chalkboard paint! (after tons of homemade chalkpaint, beacause annie sloane isn't willing to ship to germany yet ;) )

DIY Glittermushroom

After a long time, I'm back...it was a reeeeaally  long time and a lot to handle..but it's ok now and I can go on with my blog. And here I'm coming up with a bit of spring in my home.

It was a nice sunday. Sun was shining, kids had fun at ice skating...

We watched the game of our lokal Icehocke Team...we lost :/

aaaaaaand, after days of searching I found out, that I can't order Annie Sloan's Chalk paint!!!!

serious?? No shop is shipping to germany???

I wan't to try this paint so badly....This week I'm going to try this and I'll see how it is going to work for me..

english lesson...

I'll try...so, forgive me my mistakes..

I saw that many readers are from the USA and I thought that it's better to write the posts I'm going to link on a party on an american blog, in english...

And this is going to be a little tricky because the only person that is speaking english with me is my cousin Deborah. She is living at the US Base near Venice and I'm so glad that I'm going to visit her, so I can practice a little :)

Anyway, I'll try and I hope you understand my blah blah a little better, if you don't, just let me know and I will practice more ;)

Ok, I wanted to share some of my new "loved ones" with you, wich I'm going to paint and destress and, well, I don't know what else comes in my head...

They are all handmade by a lovely old man that is selling his house now and wanted to throw them all away!!

But I showed up and rescued them :)

There is coming up more these days but I can give a prev.

Not finished yet, but I love the way it will look like...

Kleine Schätzchen....

...wurden mir geschenkt :)

Holzkisten die ich in meiner Küche (Bilder folgen) benutzen werde, ein Kästchen dass meinen Schmuck beherbergen möchte und endlich endlich einen Korb für unser Kaminholz!! ich war nich gewillt 40 Euro oder mehr zu bezahlen, hat sich gelohnt es nicht zu tun :)

Naja jedenfalls, gabs nen ausziehbaren Tisch dazu, Halleluhja!!!

Aber das tollste, wirklich allerbeste an den Sachen ist, dass alles Handgemacht ist!
